Another way is to cut strips of green garbage bags to make them how ever long you want and tie them up to ten feet if you want. Take some small pieces of styro -foam ,tie them at the top. Then take some small stones like gravel and tie them at the bottom. Wrap them up real careful The idea is for the set up to unravel when the stone sinks the whole thing. The foam will float the strips and the stones will sink to the bottom. You can make a hundred of these and toss them from shore. good luck

Hey dude I will tel you a quick and easy wat to make your own structure just from shore. Ok get some smaller rocks ,twine and some pruners.  You take that tall grass that grows on the banks and shores. Tie them in small bundles.@0 or so and tie them at the bottom with the twine and then tie on the small rocks. You can cut the length to what you need . I use 5 foot bundles. Now just toss them or take them out with your tube. Make a whole bunch .they will draw the crappies and pan fish in.
