MaximumRD makes a Ghetto External Hard Drive Enclosure!

I had actually been using an old extra MAXTOR 40gig IDE hard drive just as an extra backup for my Operating system image files for my desktop and Laptop. I figured instead of it collecting dust and being handled by hand I would use a few simple items to quickly put together this GHETTO DIY HD ENCLOSURE! Well it certainly cuts down on the noise and at least will keep it from getting knocked around to much, it's not pretty but it works!

instead of all that you could just buy a 2.5 inch sata inclosure for £3.50 free p&p

to americans thats about four dollars

Get some 3 ply wood and give it a nice paint job, it'd look sweet, especially with a few stickers on.

I got 3 hard drives that i put in a asurion box they are a Maxtor 20gig IDE 3.5

hard drive, a Seagate 40gig 2.5 SATA hard drive and Western dlgltal 40gig 3.5 IDE hard drive
