These camps are situated in the Masai Mara and the Amboseli National park. They feature footage of leopards, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, the wildebeest migration, crocodiles, antilopes and birds of prey. You will also hear from the Masai themselves as well as people who have stayed at the camps. The camps aim to minimise their impact on the environment and provide benefits to the local community. You may find more information on http://www.porini.com.

  • We saw a mama cheetah with 6 cubs in the Mara October of 2007. Could these be the same ones? We stayed at Mara Intrepids camp. Our driver said they were 5-6 weeks old in early Oct. Last we heard they were all still alive!

  • I think they might be the same ones, as this was filmed in September 2006, and I'm sure you mean 2006 rather than 2007.

  • It's good to see the human community showing a degree of respect for the other creatures as opposed to hunting them or harming them or their territory in any way. This shows some wonderful scenery! You've gotta love them cheetah cubs!!!

  • Thanks for the comments and yes it does restore my faith in the benefits of tourism, the company is called Gamewatchers by the way and you can find them on porinidotcom. Please see the video response for more cheetah footage.
