This scene in the movie where Okoto dies really sums up death, showing that even the bravest and strongest of us fear dear and its inevitability. It is just pure cinematic genius and it helps illustrates natures power of all.

To be honest, I personally can't stand all the anime hype and their die-hard fans. (I know I'm gonna offend a lot of people here.) BUT GOD DAMN, Hayao Miyazaki's films are just so amazing. They're beautifully done and very true to life. I've gotten so much inspiration for my own writing from these films.
