Egyptian Tomb is a level for Mushroom Kingdom Fusion's World 2: Alternate Earth developed by Gladiacloud with help from JDogindy. This level features enemies and elements from various games. The tilesets, some enemies, traps and music are from The Lost Vikings, an old game by Blizzard. The mummies are from the Data-East arcade game "Tumblepop". There are various Mario, Metroid and Metal Slug enemies as well. Oh and the Pharaoh Head is from The Simpsons: Bart Vs. The World.

  • I Kno We Not supposed 2 Ask Questions about The Project But R u Guys Makin An Version 5.0? Or sumthing Cause Mine Plays Slow Sometimes Certain Levels

  • @ASHTREFISHER You can ask questions about the project, just not release dates, or questions already answered in the FAQ if possible. The project is always getting work. The next version would be 0.5 yeah, it will have plenty of new levels and optimizations, but I can't tell if the game's performance will be improved for older computers, this problem is related more directly to Game Maker 8. We do what we can to improve it though. Check the performance tips we give in the FAQ in our forums.

  • Dang, how many desert/pyramid/Egyptian based levels does MKF have to have? It already has a ton.

    Not to say that this level doesn't look great because it does. I just feel that MKF has too many pyramids as it is.

    I assume you mean Agent M? If so, then yes, that character idea was scrapped a while back. 

  • @LarsLuron Sorry, I meant no disrespect. I'm just looking forward to the completed version. I would just love to play it through like a normal game and not soil that experience with the betas. I try sometimes, but I feel like I'm cheating on the game by being able to play any levelfirst

    Also I checked the wiki out, did you remove that original character from the playable character list?

    Episode 3 won't let you play through the game while it's being worked on, though.

    Anyway, unless you're trying to suggest that we rush the game to completion with zero regard for it's quality, it's going to take a while to finish. A game like this is going to take time to complete, especially if we want it to come out right.

  • Dang. Very nice use of everything in the level. The traps give a good Indiana Jones vibe like Xero's original level suggestion wanted, the tiles and enemies fit the idea/tone perfectly. The Metroid enemies coming out of the pot things? Perfect standin for a scarab enemy. The level itself is a good looking exploration based level- something we've needed more of for a long time. In short, damn good job JDog and Gladia. Damn good.
