@ManekiNeko1972 There's insufficient evidence in this video to prove either of us right. It's possible that the team didn't want to take the risk anyway even if they had 3 shots at it (after all in this game it's easy to miss 3 in a row). At the same time, the host made no reference to the number of incorrect answers AND there was no statement from Vernon Kay that the million dollar question had special rules (i.e. one-and-out). Other shows with new rules on the last question say those directly.
@bvelvet63 Not THAT game. THIS game. Look at this game near the end. They only had ONE wrong answer the whole time. And Vernon Kaye did not mention the wrong answers. Why? Because when you go for the $1,000,000 question, you lose all the remaining wrong answers. The only thing you get are the three helps if you still have them.
@ManekiNeko1972 No, they had gotten their third wrong answer on the first 600k question...so they had no room to give an incorrect answer on the million dollar question. This is a situation where two things are happening at the same time but one does not cause the other. The team already had no room for error because they had 3 misses, so there was no need to mention mistakes. It had nothing to do with the value of the question.
@bvelvet63 Look at the last question again. Vernon Kay does NOT mention the mistakes. that's because your room for mistakes are taken away at the $1,000,000 question. You can swap the question and get a 2nd question, but you miss once, and you're out.
@ManekiNeko1972 That's not true. The Video gamers had two different million dollar questions. Theoretically you can have 5 million dollar questiosn to go for IF you didn't miss any questions getting to that poitn and if you still had the swap a question option.
"And we'll see you next time on 'Million-Dollar Mind Game,'" Vernon said. What a pity it won't happen. This is a really good game show. It deserved better than ABC gave it.
@DebuBachtoven I think the money ladder should be $6K-$12K-$18K-$24K-$30K-$60K-$120K-$240K-$480K-One Million. What do you think of that?

Particularly in this episode, the over-dubbing of Vernon's voice is really evident. I noticed it even when I first saw the episode on TV.
Listen to the dialogue at about 5:44. That just sounds awful.

This is a great game. I wish it were still on the air.
