This week, we rip open the pages of World War Hulk, The New Avengers: Illuminati, and Iron and the Maiden. Plus, we answer your viewer voicemail. So call us, ask us a question and we'll put it on the show: 213-291-1883.
Just picked up Iron & Maiden, and I have to disagree about some of the review. First, I didn't get the impression of "love at first sight". It felt as though that Iron had some feelings for "IBs" (Innocent Bystanders) not exactly love at first sight. Secondly, though I like your phrase "Bad Guy Ninjas go to Church!?", I believe they were supposed to be monks or some other clergy, not ninjas. plus its a corrupt faith/faction... That being said, I still love the show, must see more!
Man you guys and the responses knocked me off guard. I really couldn't believe anyone liking that movie. Even taking away it's comic book origins, just as a movie in the movie genera I thought the acting was fake, the premise cliche, and those three characters in his building were the worst idea I've ever seen. Theres a point when comic relief turns into a stupid kiddie movie, like Jar-Jar Binks. John Pinette was the worst choice for that character and made the whole movie seem asinine.
I'm not even one of those people that has an opinion about what's the best, or one who comes and yells about what you like or not, but honestly I thought it was widely known that the 2004 Punisher movie was just awful. I thought I was with everyone when I said it was one of the worst movies ever made, and not just comic book movies. I couldn't stop laughing through the whole movie, and was embarrassed for Jane through the whole thing.
Wait, did you mean the 2004 Punisher? I'm going to assume you guys were being facetious with that, because if you really believed that movie was first GOOD and also the best comic book movie ever made, I now can't believe a single thing you guys say.
I mean the new one made in 2004 plus the extended version was nice aswell. i have not seen the the older version yet but if i ever see it i prolly will watch it
Long Answer: Wolverine I believe is by far the most favored of the X-men cast, and all the women keel over for Mr Jackman.. So its an instant money maker. Lets just hope we get a decent director, Xmen 3 sucked hulk balls.
