  • diggleso must work for the granite industry. Making a statement like that shows his great ignorance on the subject.

Most soil is around 5 pCi/g and can be converted into 4.75 uR/hr. That 4.75 uR is part of the normal background gama radiation levels of 6 to 7 uR/hr.

Everyone by now has heard of the Houston granite top that was so hot, 2 dead cats, one maid died of cancer, and one of the homeowners developed a brain tumor. That slab tested at 1,130 pCi/G radium, normal is 5 pci/g.

  • This PM1703 gives readings for gamma radiation. The readings are in uR/hr. (micro Roentgen per hour) If your soil is higher then you need to contact the EPA for remediation.

  • I've just spent 5k for my kitchen in granite, I'm going to rip them out and throw them away,

  • It's called Niagara Gold. Start to learn the correct names.

  • This video is a joke. You'll get a way higer reading from the soil under your house. So what now? Start building houses that float so we don'r get exposed? What a joke!
