Rosalie Sorrels' song from Jefferson Starship's "Blows Against the Empire".
methinks Blows Against the Empire may be the pinnacle of the hippie era of music insomuch as it embodies the spirit & also enjoys the benefit of having so many great musicians gathering together to play.
this is great

Wonderful transcription of one of my alltime favorites. Would love the chord progression you used to mimic the banjo.

Rosalie Sorrells wrote the song, "THE BABY TREE," and Geordie Music Publishing Co., published it for her in 1970. A few years later, she formed her own publishing company and they assigned her songs to her (I believe her company is Grimes Music).
