  • what the hell is this bullshit? Look at Asians. All they eat in China is rice, and they are rarely overweight. Americans are fat and unhealthy because of the sugar, fat, and salt in their diets.

I think the idea that carbs are bad is so popular because it is what people want to hear. Like the atkins diet. All the fat unhealthy people can say 'oh, I can keep eating all the stuff that is bad for me, but just cut out wheat? Yay!'

  • @L0VECHILDD white food is processed high GI carbs. It does work. For the simple reason that fat people are insulin resistant. Why that happens is not clear but eating carbs when you insulin resistant will only make you fat and quite often you will become type 2 diabetic. Cut the carbs and your blood insulin will be much lower(insulin resists fat being burned). If you're thin dont worry about it - eat all the carbs you like. If you start putting on weight you may need to change.

  • Where does he advocate low carb on this video? Did he say to cut out bananas, oranges, apples, and other fruits from the diet? I would advocate substituting all the processed carbs with fruits and veggis carbs for good health. Cutting all carbs will just make you look deflated. Also there are so many good hydrating nutrients in fruits that helps clean out your colon and flatten your stomach.

  • @lucasboden they are relatively low carbohydrate density. Maybe i should have called the vid "dont eat processed carbs...

  • @L0VECHILDD The problem is that in Asia they may eat a cup of rice at a meal, but in America it is several plates worth at the buffet. Portion size is just as much to blame as carbs.

When they mention carbs they do not mean good carbs like veggies and less/unprocessed grains (oatmeal, long-grain rice). But things like regular bread/pasta and anything with sugar. Coffee is good for you until you start adding sugar, milk, and flavorings.

Carbs turn to belly fat faster than protein or fat.

  • @L0VECHILDD Pick up a book and learn something love child. Everything you put in your body breaks down into glucose in other words sugar. Asians aren't affected as much because they eat much smaller portions

  • 100 % correct

  • It's true, one time I tried it just as an experiment. I stopped eating all white processed carb foods. Within 10 days, I lost 14 lbs. I'm not kidding. It was hard, because I love white rice, pasta, and certain breads that I get at Olive Garden restaurant I just love.. Those foods are extremely dangerous. They cause obesity, high blood pressure, etc..

  • @Jleigh225 Its true. It does cost a little more. I dont eat paleo, I just dont eat sugar, wheat, corn, rice and starchy roots. I eat more vegetables, dairy, meat and nuts. I can go al day without eating because the hunger sensation is so much less intense and I dont get irritable. I only lost 20lbs doing it but I started eating like this about a year ago and now I'm back to my high school weight of 136lbs

  • @athletichunta sugar is the worst culprit. Most people would lose weight if they could cut out just the sugar. Most people like desserts, chocolate bars, ice cream, soft drinks and beer too much though
