Performed by Alastair Johnston, 21 August 2009. A real rarity in Tin Pan Alley, 1930: Kay Swift, a lady. Lovely tune (first take) but it shows the out of tune bass strings on my piano.

  • I really wanted to sing this song I had a hard time finding the music. He sounds great.I will have to try and sing another Kaye Swift song I guess.Maybe can't we be friends. This song is from a play that she scored called Fine and Dandy.

She was also G.Gershwins girlfriend for about 10 yrs.

  • Is there anything Alastair can't do?
