Sure Tony's faster but the cnc is cutting round overs and carves from the looks of it.

hi. how would you finish a bound maple fretboard thats on an oiled neck? do you clear over the top of the binding? also, how do you cut the binding channel on the arm bevel of an RG style body without it cutting at an angle. any info will help, thanks.

The pin router is an old SCMI R8. This machine is still available (I see them on ebay often) usually $500-$2500 depending on condition. There are lots of other good pin routers brands also available. KBR

Yeah, our CNC process is still a little slow, but as we add more items to the program, it is starting to get pretty cool.
We actually are using both hand and automated methods for various processes. Still having fun, making guitars. KBR

No, actually there is a template on the bottom of the jig. There is a pin that follows the pattern, right under the cutting head. KBR
