Swans are particularly hard to describe, put into a box, place a genre on. Some people get it, most don't, but it is what it is. Got a chance to finally see them just a few days ago and I was totally blown away. They are the loudest band I've ever seen.I have to admit, even as I type this there is still the faintest ringing in my ears but that is beside the point. I began to hear things that weren't there and my girlfriend began to salivate for no reason. We had an experience!!!

Deception is convincing someone that an illusion is believable or real. Therefore for one to be believable they have to somewhat believe it as well in order to have conviction and convince others of their deceit. In order to believe something one likely has a motive to want to remain in denial.Denial is a coping mechanism and therefore a weakness. Odd most people think on the contrary.

People hate each other because as you say , 'they are not them' or see things their way , which is intolerant.

They played only one or two old tracks but it fit in perfectly with the new material from The Seer. As a side note, I recommend buying Thor Harris's book 'A Post-Apocalyptic Tale of Friendship'. It comes with a companion CD with some amazing bits of music and the artwork will fascinate and offend (at least some people).
