This is actually Bella Baillie, as her Manchester contemporaries remembered her until the end of her career, and as she is (and quite properly) named on her early, and very good 78s. I heard her in her sixties, in Elgar's "The Kingdom", still with the bell-like tones and the marvellously accurate sense of pitch.
