Can you explain me better : the DC current is passing through the wire producing heat and the fen is "cooling" the wire and transfering heat out of the can...am I right? And how do you running the fen? How much power do you use for making 600 W of heat ?

@MrDanilo97 you are correct. that is all heat. the fan draws 2 watts. the rest goes to the heating element (copper coil of wire)

can you create heat on a copper wire with a AA battery?

@gsxxxrk5 yes, but it would be very thin wire and not very much heat as the wire would burn up easily. also heat is a result of power x # of watts being disapated across the wire. more power = more heat.
