@seanpaynedotnet The 7 scriptures thats in the bible do not speak of gays, ithey speak of temple prostitution, forced rape, and worshiping of other gods and idolatry. Obviously you can't read.

@smurfboywv What are you talking about? There are many Scriptures(The Bible, aka God's Word) condemning it. What has most likely happened is you are interpreting the Scriptures that condemn sodomy through the lens of this heathen culture that accepts it, rather than through an unbiased lens.

@seanpaynedotnet Its only a sin because the churches want it to be, Its never mentioned by God or Jesus. Ignorant people always believe what the church has preached to them.
-
@smurfboywv It definitely is a sin, I don't understand why people wish to "Christianize" sodomy. Christians all through out history opposed it, so did the Jewish people in the Old Testament. Besides the many Scriptures that clearly condemn it in both Old and New Testament; all Scriptures that promote the family unit and to be fruitful and multiply are an indirect condemnation to it. One's desires do not justify giving in to them, but rather do what God commands.

@seanpaynedotnet Being gay is not a sin, as 2 people loving each other is not sinful.

I really like your studies and video. I found it to be very informative, Thank-you.

I'd say its better to just leave the bible alone. If i had enough time, i bet i could interpret several statements to mean heterosexuality is a sin

Read Romans Chapter 1.
Jesus can free you from your sin, repent!
Just wondering, why do newer translations of the Bible still continue these myths? I have a New King James Version of the Bible. It's translation dates from around 1980. Surely at that time they knew of the translation error?

They do know this, but because debate still rages on about what the story is trying to get across, the words remain the same. It's relying on tradition... which is Matthew 15:3 warns about. There should not be the authority to read context into verses, such as the word homosexual for that word did not exist until much later.
