@BereanBeacon Theories cannot be mistakes, only mistaken. DNA recapitulates the FACT of Evolution at every turn and step. Louis Agassiz lived in an age when Evolution was still controversial among scientists but, were he alive today, he, as a empirical thinker, would doubtless see the weight of evidence -- particularly DNA -- for what it is, proof. The vast majority of scientists today, particularly biologists and paleontologists, know Evolution as fact. Who are you to dissent?

@outlawmlo7 Here is a thing for which there is not even the thinnest string of evidence: god. Evolution is observable in all species an is widely regarded as fact among most scientists. To ignore the profundity of this most supported fact-based pursuit is to give a dull, perverse ignorance harbor in one's brain. How like the throng of believers: unaccustomed and unwilling to engage in separate thought; to give weight to only what they are told by their ilk; to shout incoherent and dumb.

If you wish to appear intelligent, I suggest spell-check. As far as "speculation"? Evolution is fact! It is observable in all species and at the level of DNA. All living and dead members of any species are on the continuum of the evolutionary tree, and are therefore transitional; to expect a fish with feet to trot from the depths is misguided and uninformed. If you wish to see former (transitional) members of the species Hominidae, there are many exemplars on many websites. God is a myth!
