Wowowee Singing Teens 1

This video features the impressive vocal performances of four teens who played in the Willie of Fortune game segment of the Philippines' most popular noontime variety show, Wowowee. Aired on January 8, 2009 in ABS-CBN, this particular Willie of Fortune episode featured 6 teenage singers who won in small amateur singing contests. Before they played the game, each player were briefly interviewed & then was made to show a bit of his/her singing talent.

Four out of these six contestants, namely Rejean, Jeneal, Liezel & Jarlin had made such a huge impact among the audience, including Charice, who at that time was in the Philippines and happened to be watching the show on TV. Later on, during the show, Charice called the host, Willie Revillame, to express how impressed she was of the teenage singers. She told the teen singers to keep their dreams of becoming professional singers alive no matter how many adversities it may take -- just like what she did. Willie then asked Charice if she could sing with the teens and the young diva readily agreed to it.
