@CodenameLan it is banned because it poses too much risk to the gymnast of breaking your neck.

it is indeed only banned in woman's gymnastics but newly invented skills in male gymnastics on floor are not allowed to end in a roll. It's possible to to a thomas full (2,5 twists with a roll) but it's not allowed to be invented.

hmm. i thought i read somewhere that the thomas full is only banned in woman's competitive gymnastics? i may be wrong. but i'm trying to learn one :p
