Flash #05: Easy Custom Mouse Pointer

Something my students always enjoyed when they built a Flash movie was having a custom mouse pointer. Sometimes it was just a little flashing dot -- or it was an animated rocket -- or it was a bloody, dripping skull. You can even use an animated GIF as your pointer.

The script for this is simple:

onClipEvent (load) {
Mouse.hide();
startDrag(this, true);
}
onClipEvent(mouseMove){
updateAfterEvent();
}
