@keenan I agree with you. She is not coming up with anything novel. However, the fact that people, who previously didn't realize the ideas presented in this video, are now realizing these ideas which are new to them. In my opinion, this means that her video was successful in achieving what I think its aim was which, I believe, was not to flaunt any novel ideas or to present any unknown wherewithal needed to solve problems. What would the world be like if we were only given new ideas & knowledge?

this is intersting in that you fail to examine the original root of abortion. WAY back in the day, Abortion was used to deal with rape pregnancies. back in hellenistic greece, bearing the kid of your spouse was an honor. bearing the kid of rape was dishonor to your spouse. All the education in the world won't prevent the mentally disturbed rapist from doin what a rapist does. So whats the source of rapists? What"s the source of mass murdering cultists? Hmm, the idea I've liked is "cradle to cradle" theory. The idea is, that nature doesn't conserve, it produces mass amounts of stuff, and huge amounts of waste, but the things it produces evolved, and so they are integrated. Man-made stuff is intelligently designed, it's form is not integrated with the functional eco-system, because it doesn't fit, it is toxic.

I don't believe that there are any intentional solutions to this problem, it is, as with all things, evolutionary.

Population Growth: counterintuitive but the population growth is in the starving unwashed masses of poverty-stricken countries. Educate people how to have a REAL economy not dictated by the World Bank, which feeds them, clothes them, gives them health care and a savings account that grows. When they feel safer and healthier, they stop breeding like fruit-flies and go into negative population growth like Canada, the US and Europe.
