Actually when airborne, it's called Speed Brakes, on ground, it's caled Ground spoilers and those work also together with flight controls to optimize the control of the aircraft at low speeds

i didn't know pilot can deploys spoilers in mid-air, don't it disturb air flow on the wing and kill the lift and cause stall?

@energycondensed That's the whole point of it. The pilots deployed spoilers to slow down the aircraft as well as to make it descend faster to put the aircraft on the right descent path.
