Tori Amos's music is like a beautiful angel with a dark side.

@ForgottenCrescent The first key on Toris' piano is below the Mariannes Trench, the forty-fourth key resides @ sea level; while the eighty-eighth is above K2; & Tori commands All in between. Celtic Goddess personified; the seasons & starlight are but wisps of her dreams.

@hiraethchild Tori is living breathing proof that there is more to the picture than meets the eye. Blessings to You &Yours

This song is obsessing me right now and seeing these older photos of Tori reminds me of the enchantress she was when I saw her in person back in the day. From a small venue in '93 with her and her piano, just twenty feet away, to the half stadium times of Choir Girl. I am so lucky to have experienced early Tori. Her face here still so much represents the bewitching talent that drew me in in the first place. Looking at her now, all these years later, I just want to drink her in and remember.

So you heard I crossed over the line. Do I have regrets? Well...not yet. There are some who give blood. I give love.
Soon before the sun begins to rise, I know that I must give so that I can live.
There are some whose "give" twists itself to "take." They mistake who and what made up the line: some say it was pain...or was it shame?
Soon before the sun begins to rise, I know that I must give so that I can live.
