This beautiful song was written by Stevie Wonder and included on his brilliant 1974 album "Fulfillingness' First Finale". Diana covered it in 1977 for her album "Baby It's Me."
This is a lovely, nuanced performance by Miss Ross and another great Richard Perry production

@juniortr2005 Unlike so many others, Ms. Ross took her addiction seriously and has been without a problem for a dozen years. That is something to admire, not denigrate. When the problem occurred, the husband she greatly loved had just died in a tragic accident. So, your comments seems really mean-spirited.

This is the song that summed me up as a teenager, falling so hard in love, but paralyzed by it as well, longing to say something, but far too timid. This song, by this singer, means a lot to me, to the point of tears. Thank you so much for it.
