David Taylor is Founder and Managing Partner of the brandgym, a network of brand coaches who help companies create inspiring brand visions and action plans to turn into growth. The brandgym is the one of the fastest growing brand strategy consultancies in Europe, growing at 45% a year since starting in 2002.
He is well known for his practical, down-to-earth approach, and for his campaign to build brands that combine both sausage (product) and sizzle (emotion). He specialises in helping companies create a brand-led business where the brand idea drives product, packaging and service innovation - not just advertising.
David started his career in brand management in 1987 at Procter & Gamble before leaving to complete an MBA at INSEAD. He then developed the Paris office of the marketing consultancy Added Value, before leaving in 2001 to start the brandgym.
His clients include Tesco, T-Mobile, Royal & Sun Alliance, Unilever and the BBC.
