2010 CHEVY MALIBU POWER STEERING FAILURE

2010 MALIBU POWER STEERIN MALFUNCTIONING LESS THAN 10,000 MILES. I'VE BEEN FIGHTING WITH GM FOR MANY MONTHS TO FIX PROBLEMS,ENGINE KNOCKING NOISE,AIR CONDITIONING HAS MOLD SMELL. THIS CAR NEARLY CAUSE ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF POWER STEERING MALFUNCTION..THIS IS A PARTIAL POWER STEERING MALFUNCTION CAR HAS HAD A MAJOR POWER STEERING MALFUNCTION TO WHERE YOU CANNOT TURN STEERING WHEEL AT ALL.CAR HAS BEEN IN A SHOP 6 TIMES DEALERS CANNOT FIX PROBLEMS OR FIND PROBLEMS.THIS CAR IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN!!!!!

HAVE A 2012 HONDA CIVIC 8000 MILES, JUST CHANGED IT TAN IN COLOR.I KNOW THERE R MANY TYPES OF OILS OUT THERE,BUT IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAVE NEVER SAW OIL TURN AS BLACK AS THE NOX DID WITH ONLY 900 MILES ON IT.I HAVE BOUGHT AND SOLD CARS FOR 17 YEARS.

NOW HAVE 2011 EQUINOX 2ND GM PRODUCT NOW TO HAVE PROBLEMS,HAVE OIL LEAK LOOKS LIKE HEAD GASKET LEAKING AND OR VALVE COVER.

UPDATE ON 11 CHEVY EQUINOX, WHATS THE CHANCES OF BUYN A 2ND CAR WITH PROBLEMS, I GUESS PRETTY GOOD IF U BUY A GM PRODUCT.TOOK A 7000$ LOSS ON CHEVY EQUINOX JUST 2 GET RID OF IT,WAS N SHOP SEVERAL TIMES 4 ERRATIC IDLE WITH ECO CAR WOULD STALL HAD ENGINE KNOCKS,NEW CAM UPDATED PARTS WERE PUT ON CAR STILL HAD PROBLEMS, DEALER COULD NOT DULICATE, ALSO TO NOTE OIL BLACK AS CAN B LESS THAN 900 MILES!!SO NOW EVERYTIME I FIND A NOX I LEAVE A CARD THAT SAYS SEARCH WEB FOR CHEVY EQUINOX PROBLEMS

to the coment made about steering the wheel with both hands yes it would have been a little bit easier. but it was like tryn to steer a 1980`s cadi that just broke the powersteering belt, and since i was by myself when malfunction happened,and that it was intermiten had no choice but to use one hand, since i had to catch it when it happened!!

it is a pice that is contected to the stering collem that is about 4 inches long that is your nose and it also would have broke your power stering and your stering is an electric moter under the dash that pece i was telling you about slides up and down like a shock and the plastic inside it wares out fast if you drive were there is alot of bumps

@duskri123 mine was the electrical servo motor they replaced it, didnt have complete steern loss after that, but thermal protector kept kickin in every so often shutting down the electric assist

there seem 2 b a lot of cars haven problems with this technology

I have a 2005 Malibu and the power steering goes out on it sometimes at random.

i kno about turnin the car off and back on to get the wheen free but this almost made my fiance loose her life this is not safe and yet they still making cars as a matter of fact where is the power steering in a 05 malibu i want my problem fixed not some cheap fix..

Just a random thought, but don't you agree that it probably would have been easier to steer with two hands instead of video taping it with your camcorder. I am no expert but I am sure it would have helped.
