This song was first published as a poem on page two of The Daily News, St. John's, Newfoundland, on March 11, 1960. Otto Kelland composed the music as well and Leonard Meehan included the song in his album of Newfoundland songs written and composed by Otto P. Kelland - Songs Of The Anchor Watch. Thanks for sharing. :-)
