This is a trailer for a documentary short that aired on September 11th, 2006 by filmmaker Rob Graydon. That date not only marked the 5th anniversary of the New York terrorist attack, it is also the 100th anniversary that Mahatma Gandhi first used non-violence against oppression in South Africa.
The film chronicles the 100 years following the 1906 protest. We get to see many, many non-violent movements (many not well known in the U.S.) that changed history.
We'll also get to see "regular" people (many inspired by Gandhi)doing extraordinary things to change the world around them.
