Richard Phillips is now CEO of ACET Ireland -- working in schools, colleges in HIV prevention and supporting drug users with HIV and their families at home. School breakfasts in Zimbabwe cost around 20 cents each. ACET stands for AIDS Care Education and Training. There are many ACETs around the world -- helping save lives and support all those affected, mobilizing communities and churches in practical, compassionate, non-judgmental and effective responses to AIDS. Fighting discrimination, encouraging access to HIV testing and treatment. ACET works in 23 countries, fighting HIV spread, tackling stigma, discrimination, gender-based violence, ingorance, fear, supertstition, providing compassionate unconditional care for all who need it as a community of faith-based organisations, mobilising communities to action, working with churches, Christian NGOs, non profit agencies, governments and international development agencies.
