Red phosphorus reacts violently with bromine to produce phosphorus(III) bromide.

  • I heard from one of my military friends that white or red phosphorus completely destroys all the air

  • theres no roman numerals, since phosphorus doesnt have more than one oxidation state. since its a binary nonmetal compound, you would use the prefixes, so it would be phosphorus tribromide, PBr3
