Volunteering for Compton Hospice

Contributing your time to the hospice is valued equally to cash donations.

Compton Hospice couldnt continue to serve the community without the commitment and dedication of the 615 volunteers that give of their time each year to help keep our services running.

Without these unsung heroes, our organisation could not function. In fact, volunteers at Compton Hospice outnumber paid workers by almost three to one and, in monetary terms, save the hospice around £1 million each year in salaries.

But because their motivation is often very personal, the care and personality our volunteers bring to the hospice enhance the service we offer in a very special way and its hard to put a value on that input.
