I just got this in the mail today and tested it in my family room. This is the 15 year old 9.6v tyco aero hopper and it runs as good as new. I'll have some close ups of it after getting it cleaned up a little. It's in very good shape. I've been a fan of these old tyco cars ever since I got a tyco turbo hopper in xmas 89. This is the same car except the body is the aero design.
Why are you afraid to get this thing dirty? not too many folks have these so it would be nice to see what these things are realy capable off ouside in the dirt, on the ramp, full speed, etc...

I recently bought a Jet Hopper Turbo with no remote. I used another 27mhz remote I had to test it and forward and back made the car go non-turbo forward only. I was nearing a wall and hit right to turn and this activated the damn turbo function speed and it slammed the wall and snapped off the bumper!!! 0:30sec reminded me of my pain! Love TYCO - Love ZAAP Glue and Araldite! :)

Hey Matt, i really like your r/c vehicles. I recently found the Aero Turbo Hopper Mint in the Box at a local thrift store for 8 bucks!! I have yet to test it out with fresh batteries. I did test it out with batteries, but the batteries were old, so it does run though. I have 2 BMX ramps outside in the barn i'm going to try to get it to jump back & forth on those ramps..can't wait! :)

Hey nice tyco collection...
Have you ever came across the "Turbo BLaster"?
It was from around 1990-1991.
Also I'd really like to find the Super Fast traxx.
