very very interested in this unit! thank you so much for this overview. i have a question though... im here at the philippines right now for work. all my GPS map for the philippine setting is in my SD card. my question, can i use the NVU94T using an SD card for navigation?
i know that sony uses memory stick. i can easily copy and paste the maps from my SD card to a memory stick.

No, only maps from Sony's support site can be put into the unit.

does it have an internal antenna, or do you need to stick something on the dash or windshield?
Seems like a great product, except for the virus in some models, and the discontinuation.

There is a built-in internal antenna, but there is also an option for an external antenna if you want to mount the Nav-U somewhere else in the car.
