avril..that's like saying someone that makes $300,000 a year with $90,000 in debt (30%)is no worse off than someone making $10,000 a year with $5,000 in debt (50%). $5,000 is manageable debt, and there are a lot of thing that 10K a year guy can do to handle that obligation. However, the 300K a year guy is screwed. Even at his exhorbitant salary, 90K is monstrous debt, and unless drastic measures are taken, it will result in bankruptcy at some point.

The best advice was once given to me long ago:when you find yourself in a deep deep hole, the best thing to do is to....STOP DIGGING!!!!!
