Scalextric Slot Car Track Test

First test of part of a larger layout being built. Have looped back here improvising with a filing cabinet draw to suspend the track. No borders on yet so a bit slow.

Thanks all. This is one corner and it will go in my Loft also. This is 2 4x2ft boards and by the time I finish in 10 years there will be 18 of them!! I've almost finished 4th one and I will put in Loft over xmas. There is Marklin Gauge 1 track intergrated in this and you can just see it at the beginning of the video. There will be fast sections coming up!! And a Level crossing on the next boards.

Im setting up a track in the loft next to my model train set, did it matter to you that it wasnt a big fast straight setup? Or did you just have fun building it. I'm wondering if im wasting my time just building a small setup like your, i am also going to model the scenery as you have. Good track though.

Very Good, looks really well set out, a bit annoying that the track doesn't quite join together in places, but that's Scalextric for ya!
