With Amsoil Synthetic Oil 25,000 miles is the norm. Oil changes save you money and time. Reduce dependence on foreign oil.

  • @jet62095 SOME of their oils are API certified, only the OE, XL and PCO oils ARE api certified.

  • @jet62095 - AMSOIL does indeed offer a line of lower performing oils that are API certified, for those that want a lower performing oil. All API certification is supposed to ensure is that the motor oil in question meets *minimum standards*. AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are not minimum standard oils, but oils that lead the industry. A recent industry article that was released found that 16% of the API certified oils on the market didn't even meet that minimum standard. Wow!

  • how the hell did i end up on this video??? i was watching a gaming video and i didnt click anything and this came up wtf?

  • Some amsoil oils are API certified ,others are not. The reason being is that some of their oils are overloaded with certain anti wear additives to get those long drain intervals. Oil has to be within the API limit (no more or no less) to get the API blessing. The starburst API label on some amsoil products are not fake.

  • API is the minimum, MINIMUM requirements an oil needs to be tested to.

    Nothing AMSOIL does is fake.

All Amsoil products far exceed API certifications.

Check each product specifications on line.

  • Wrong. AMSoil isn't API certified, the "API labels" on the bottles are fake!

  • @harley1450000 Just remember, if anyone gives you an issue about using Amsoil give your dealer or rep a call and ask them what to do from there.

A lot of dealerships are self acclaimed oil experts but don't really know what they're saying. Their oil or Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc. will not cause more or less DAMAGE to any engine or device in your car.

More often than not, your vehicle will last longer with a high quality synthetic like Amsoil.

  • harley1450000 - You don't have to wait until your O.E. warranty expires to use AMSOIL. AMSOIL maintains your factory warranty and in fact has a warranty of its own.
