John, I enjoy your style. I was interested in how you handle some of the impossible chord reaches in Stan's book. I bought his book awhile back and put it away, but since I heard you play I am going to get it back out. Thanks for posting. And hey, I got your name right. :)

Thank you. Whitmire definitely has some big chord reaches in this song. I can reach an 11th comfortably and can manage a #11th. It appears as you probably can as well. The 13th in measure 31, the 12th in measure 58, and the 12th in 63 I simply just leave the top note off. What's a person to do? I actually watched some of the videos of Whitmire playing to size up his hands and in my opinion they dont look big enough the hit those 12th's and 13th's. Perhaps they actually are.
