Banks Monster cat-back exhaust

Banks Monster cat-back exhaust install and sound test.
2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0 automatic.

With the exception of lockers, suspension mods 4.56 gears and 33" tires this Jeep was stock at the time of this video. If you have a stock Jeep and buy the Banks cat-back system this is exactly what it should sound like. Even better if you have a manual trans. The sound is low and deep and respectful at low RPM cruising but it really comes to life when you open it up. I've noticed that the sound has gotten slightly deeper over the past two weeks. Sounds even better now. I give this system two thumbs up! If you're looking for something loud but not obnoxious, Banks is the way to go.

This wheel/gear set up works well with my automatic. Acceleration is strong...as you can see from the video lol. And she climbs hills without shifting all over the place. If you have an automatic I'd definitely recommend it.

OHHH! LOL...Yup...I did. lol. Had to park the Jeep where I was, (two blocks from the mechanic) take a cab back to my garage, talk the driver into letting me through my dirty ass belly pan in his nice clean trunk and drive me back to the Jeep. And then I had to install it on the side of the road holding it and the tranny up with my knees because I forgot my jack. UGH! It was all worth it though in the end.

Thanks! I installed the Banks cold air intake this weekend to match the exhaust. All I can say is WOW!
