Hi there, they expect I will have braces for 12 months before surgery and perhaps another 6-8 months post surgery. I see the Oral surgeon in Feburary, I should get a much better idea then :)

cool...what kind of braces do you have? Traditional metal or damon? I have traditional metal and expecting to have surgery in about a year to a year in a half....i am so anxious

I have Metal too. Im really looking forward to the surgery - Im a nurse so Im always interested in health and I deal with alot of operations, so Im keen to have it done. It only takes a few days before you start feeling normal again post-surgery, if you can handle the 1st week then youll be fine!

wow you can hardly notice your braces, I saw the first video and then the second and I didn't even notice you'd gotten them! They have straightened sooo much since the 2nd vid congrats!

hi, do you will get rubber bands? you look very pretty with braces. I had braces like you and behind my teeth for three years when I was a child. I had rubbar bands from the palatal expander to my bottom braces. I looked very bad.... xoxo
