Cody Is A Hero

Our Great Pyrenees, Kodiak, is a livestock guardian dog who's job is to protect his flock of sheep. He gets between the sheep and any predators that may come along. On the morning of January 19, 2006 the predator was a barn fire.

how many do you have? and do they ever wear metal collars to protect their necks from attacks?

@Adrian28PetersonOWN Cody is the attacker, not the attackee. No metal collar for him, but he is entering the final stages of his life. He's 11 now and showing his age. What a great dog!

We just had our Pyr put to sleep at 12. He was a incredible dog. He used to follow the kids to the bus stop and stand in the road forcing speeding cars to stop, and then peeing on there bumper before letting them leave.
