Musical commentary on artistic statements. Created for the 48 Hour Film Project, Philadelphia 2009. An example:

Work of Meta-Art in the Age of Generative Reproduction
The flux creates, the corporation profligates. In the synoptic reality, art objects are deprecations of the imaginations of the flux -- a flux that uses the corporation as a zeitgeist to deconstruct ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the synergy of the electronic environment, the flux is conceiving a point where it will be free from the corporation to realize immersions into the parameters of the delphic reality. Work of Meta-Art in the Age of Generative Reproduction contains 10 minimal shockwave engines (also refered to as "clipper chips") that enable the user to make boorish audio/visual compositions.

measuring chains, constructing realities
putting into place forms
a matrix of illusion and disillusion
a strange attracting force
so that a seduced reality will be able to spontaneously feed on it

franco macaroni's work investigates the nuances of modulations through the use of stopframe motion and close-ups which emphasize the Generative nature of digital media. macaroni explores abstract and smelly scenery as motifs to describe the idea of hyper-real reality. Using overbearing loops, lasers, and slow-motion images as patterns, macaroni creates meditative environments which suggest the expansion of time...

  • I like this! And will have to give the market-o-matic a try.... "macaroni explores abstract and smelly scenery as motifs to describe the idea of hyper-real reality"... lol. Wonder if I could slip some of that into my work somehow... ;-]
