Ali Hassan (78 years old) is the father of the vice president of "Al-Wefaq", Bahrain's biggest political party. He died in hospital on 3rd of November after police forces beat him in the head and other parts of the body. The funeral procession was in Daih, a town west of the capital Manama. At least 10,000 people participated in the funeral procession which started at about 9:30 am. After Ali Hassan was buried (10:30 am), mourners headed towards Manama in an aim to reach the now demolished Pearl roundabout. Riot police nearby Burhama area used tear gas and rubber pullets to crackdown on protesters. They also used their cars in an attempt to arrest and run-over protesters. Protesters ran away after riot police attacked from 3 sides and using cars. At least 10 protesters were arrested and there is an unknown number of injuries.
