Once upon a time there was a King of Kernow, and they called him the Kernow King. He was helluva boy and was born in a rocky outcrop up Roche Rock in the winter of 1979. He lived up Roche Rock for all of his childhood and survived by eating pasties and tourists who got lost whilst wondering around the village and marvelling at the granite beauty of Roche Rock.
One day, him and Cornish mega rockers Kernuyck decided to write a song. They all love fish and chips, so they called it "Pasties". Just kidding, they all love pasties, so that was what the song is called.
Have you had a pasty recently? No? If you can't get a good one from a shop, have a go at making one- doesn't matter what it looks like, as long as he hangs over the plate, he'll be right on.
