A basic tutorial on how to listen to your heart with the iphone application iStethoscope Pro. You should wear good quality headphones to hear the audio, and if using a 2G iphone or iPod Touch, use an external microphone (e.g. the white earphones with the inline microphone). In this demo, the microphone is being positioned on the apex, just below the left nipple area. Note that the pickup area of the iphone microphone is very small - much smaller than the traditional stethoscope - so you need to be accurate when placing it. • I hear my heart you know how?

    1. Use headphones wit mic

2 put the mic in your mouth

    3. Be patience

I hope it results to you...

  • @darkknightlink8711 Thanks for your message, however I would not recommend placing electronic equipment such as the microphone in your mouth - get it wet and you may give yourself a shock, and cause the device to malfunction. Listening on your chest is the best way!

  • Please do not place your mobile phone near to your son's pacemaker. Even in airplane mode it is still capable of affecting other devices. There is only a small risk, but it is not worth it! Best to use the old fashioned stethoscope with pacemakers.

  • Great if you could watch the tutorials but for some reason all I get is a blooming blank screen

  • @MrPedromarch you probably need a faster connection...

  • Is it posible to use it with the microphone of the ipod touch?

  • @carol759s If you have a microphone you can use the app; however you may not be able to hear your heart unless it's a very good microphone!

  • @zalshehab Says in the app not to use it if you have a pacemaker or anything like that, you actually have to unlock the app by reading the warning

  • @writingpeter what's airplane mode? i have the option in settings but wat is it?????

  • @leslycatly12 what do you mean with " beast " ??

  • @writingpeter i always out the mic in my mouth and nothing happen with me. and if i put in the chest i don't hear nothing.... it doesn't work in the chest....

  • My son was diagnosed with Complete Hard Block and has been installed pacemaker to him.

and As you know, they teach us to keep the pacemaker away from almost all the Electronic devices and especially the mobiles.

So Do you recommend using it on my son or it would negatively affect the pacemaker?
