It's much easier to use the pull-up grip that the guy uses. I used alot at start but i advice to use the grip as the girl uses(will make you stronger at muscle-ups).
RPK...why don't we have a program out there where instead of doing squats we'll just do qtr squats and call that the standard. then if we want to do actual squats we'll call them full squats. that's basically what you're saying. so stupid. a pull up is a pull up. what they are doing are not pull ups. kip ups are better than nothing but they are not pull ups. the workout calls for pull ups so do them.
@kesslerj actually the standard for this is kipping pull ups, ive told you this several times but you fail to comprehend that very important piece of information
Awesome work guys! I don't like the music but you guys kicked butt. I don't think I could do that many kip up or pull ups. Why are all these people hating on you guys? Nice work, makes me want to get off my lazy butt
if the workout says to do pull ups do pull ups. why not do body squats? just record what you do and then compare, right Beno? hell, let's do burpees, that involves even more muscles and record em and compare to next time. THE WORKOUT SAYS PULLUPS, NOT KIP UPS. do the workout right.
