In another video, VENT lied about Keith Olbermann's comment being a lie. He said that the gun used in the Virginia Tech Shootings would be illegal under Clinton's law because it had a 10+ round clip.

The liar on hotair stated that the law only applied to assault weapons. In fact, the law separately banned clips with over 10 rounds per clip, meaning that Keith Olbermann was, SURPRISE!!!! RIGHT!!!

Actually, Olberman was wrong. The firearm used would be legal. The magazine used (it's not a "clip") would be illegal. Even then, the mag is ONLY illegal if obtained after the law went into effect. You could still own *standard* capacity mags that held more than 10 rounds under Clinton as long as you bought them prior to the ban.
As I understand, pre-ban mags could even be legally transferred between individuals under the AWB.
