Kwame's Girl is the second single off of Vio's sophomore album "The V-Quel."
The song is by Vio feat. The Salamander. The Salamander plays the violin in this song.
Most people know that Detroit's former mayor Kwame Kilpatrick had an affair with Christine Beatty (despite being married to another woman) and sent numerous steamy text messages back and forth about their relationship.
Because of these text messages and other foul activity Kwame went to jail.
What most don't know is that while he was in jail, Vio met Christine and this song about about how they met and their relationship.
Also of very important note!!!
All text messages from Christine in this song are actual text messages that she sent to former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Google it if you're skeptical.
This is the followup to Vio's first single from "The V-Quel" which was "Hittin' That Shit" feat. Lil Jon.
Look out for "The V-Quel 2.0" later this year.

Other good songs: 3am by Eminem, Kinda Like A Big Deal by Clipse featuring Kanye West, Who's Real by Jadakiss, Get It In by 50 Cent, Always Strapped by Birdman and Lil Wayne, Drop by Rich Boy, Day N Nite by Kid Cudi, Dead And Gone by T.I.
