The other day I was going to a bachelorette party and I wanted to take some wine(for a present). So I searched my kitchen and found a bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. I started to scream telling my husband..Look, what I found...He was starring at me and thinking probably Have you gonne mad. Of course he doesn't understand that in Montepulciano they filmed the New Moon movie(Volterra). I am never drinking this wine. I thought this is interesting so I hope you find it amusing. enjoy. The wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo take the name from the type of wine grapes: "Montepulciano".
The same name have a town in Tuscany. In this town were produced another wine: "Nobile di Montepulciano" (Noble from M.) that doesn't use the "Montepulciano" grapes but the "Prugnolo gentile", a variety of "Sangiovese", and "Canaiolo nero".

Sorry my bad. I was just very surprised it said Montepulciano on the bottle. it made me think of the movie instantly. I didn't know that this wasn't the same town
