What a day! First I was at Union Chapel early early to see the Would-Be-Goods and the return of the gorgeous Birdie. Then at night, it was more gorgeousness in the form of Butcher Boy's headline turn at the Cecil Sharp House, which is part of the English Folk & Dance Society's building! The space suited them perfectly with just the right acoustics, sound and lighting. However, I was desperate to stand and MOVE. It seemed so unnatural to have to sit when the band were so powerful and soulful and Right.On. This was their first single some years ago. You just can't NOT dance to this song!
