MacBook Pro Backlit keys go out after 1 min regardless of setting

As you will see, I have my keys set to turn off after 5 mins of non-use however, they ALWAYS turn off after one minute. People didn't seem to understand or believe me so I made this video of me timing it.

So I'm assuming putting it on Never wouldn't work either? Or would just be pointless?

Hmm. I'll have to try that and see if that too is limited to one minute.

I'd actually like to set it to THREE minutes but that is not available. One minute turns off too soon and Five mins is a tad too long. Hopefully more options and this issue will be address in Snow Leopard.

Yeah I figured. 5 minutes would be too long for sure. Anyway, I'm still working on getting my first Mac. It'll be a 13" Macbook Pro, although I might go for the 15" for editing benefits.
